"I have found no better laundry soap and I'm pretty persnickety about my clothes. I have crisp white shirts from the 90's! I don't pre-dissolve anything, I pour the soap into my top loader and put the laundry on top. I use warm water have always double rinsed. I was a textiles major in college and learned the power of double rinsing in lab classes. I want the towels and sheets that are next to my face to be naturally washed-- I'm not into breathing toxic chemicals. And nature always smells divine. My closets are free of the untested, undisclosed whitening chemicals designed to bounce light and stay within a fabric's weave throughout the wash and dry cycles. I don't need those chemicals in my life and I don't want them in my water supply. I dislike the smell of commercial laundry detergents, even the fragrance-free kind -- I guess I have too much real aromatherapy coursing through my blood. P.S. This ground soap makes THE BEST foot soak. I add one full cup to hot water and soak my feet while a watch TV every few months. Afterwards, my feet are as clean and soft as a baby's bum!

Ingredients

• Saponified food grade oils of rice*, palm*, soy and castor bean*, oils of cumin*, rose hip,* abyssinnian, safflower*, evening primrose*, jojoba*, avocado*, hemp*, olive* and coconut*, butters of shea nut*, cocoa* and mango* and essential oils*.

*May be wildcrafted or organic

Directions

• Add 1/2 cup sammysoap Laundry Pure directly into top loader and add clothes or linens on top of soap shavings. Soap dissolves quickest in hot water; double rinse for best results but not required. Soap flakes may be made into laundry liquid by mixing 1.5-2.0 ounces of soap flakes with 1 L (33 ounces) of very hot water, shake well until it dissolves. Store laundry liquid in an appropriate bottle and shake well before use.
